The Lutheran Church is an association of Christians. This Church was not created by Martin Luther in the 16th century, but Jesus Christ in the 1st century, and Luther was only reformed the Church due to many abuses. And its correct name is the Reformed Catholic Church, the Evangelical Church, the Church of the Augsburg Confession.
The main teaching document, the authority of which cannot be challenged, is the Holy Scripture, or the Bible.
The Augsburg Confession, which is also a supporting document of the Bible, is used to identify the Church as Lutheran, as well as the following documents:
- Defense of the Augsburg Confession
- Apostolic, Nicene, and Athanasius Symbols of Faith
- Small and Large Martin Luther Catechisms
